The Game of Catch Up

Once again time has flown by with me not even standing a chance of keeping up :).  It kind of seem like nothing has happened since my last post but at the very same time everything has.
Well first off there was Christmas.Mine and Dami's first Christmas "alone" (we had Uncle Steve as a total bonus) which also meant our very first Christmas tree!!
Our first tree also meant shopping for our first decorations...
as another first we went all out and got our very first wreath. Matt was selling them for his school ski trips and it was totally worth it.
Although we all lacked this Christmas in snowmen and sledding trips Damian and myself tried a few other things to keep it festive. Damian got to help with the decorations this year which was a blast, we had day dates with Emily quite often for shopping and such, even an evening of making goodies such as fudge peppermint bark and hard candies with Kia and Emily.

While Emily left us to be with her husbands family for the holiday we even opened our home to somewhat of a stranger...
Molly was my fuzzy little company on those cold December nights. Although she was in a new environment it took NO TIME for her to warm right up and take over.
Christmas Eve was some fun, spent at Grandma Baxter's of course!! We always head over there for some homemade chex mix and goodies. After visiting awhile we collect our gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Baxter and usually Aunt Shell, then we head on home to get tucked in bed for Santa Clause.
We must have been pretty nice this year because Santa hooked us up as well as our family members...
The coolest spiderman pajamas I have ever seen and...
camouflage slippers from Grandma Nana!!!
An extremely handsome sweat suit from Grandma and Grandpa Baxter!!
Papa found Rock em Sock em Robots!!!!!!!!!!!
And I went just a little over board...... so sue me ;)

Of course with Christmas we had our annual Christmas card! We devised something different than last years holiday card even though it was a blast and since the weather was warmer we got a little risky.
It was so much fun and we also found out.... Damian is afraid of heights. But we learned with that, he is willing to overlook it to have a good time.
Recently my other little man has came back into my life.... and not a moment too soon!!

It doesn't get better than that right there!!
These boys are my life!! I love them so much :)
I was so glad when the opportunity arouse for Noah to come hang out with Auntie Bri again. These two boys ALWAYS get along and the easiest children to take care of together that you will ever meet. I am pretty sure if I said Damian was easier to tend when Noah is around it would not be a lie.

My mother passed away recently. It has been the greatest lose I have ever felt in my life. She was only 50 years old. I am still kind of trying to figure out how to function without her, everyone needs there go to gal! One of those things in life you can never really prepare yourself for..
 Love you mama!!
